  I attended the Christian Science church and was suprised to learn that they are neither Christian (they deny the Trinity and embrace unorthodox ideas on the body) nor scientific (they embrace a strange metaphysic without empirical foundation).

  Is Christian and is Science. Christian Science is Christian because it is based on the Bible and especially the teachings of Jesus. And it is a science because it uses healing laws of God through which the power and love of God solves human problems in a dependable, repeatable way.
